How do I book an appointment at Shear Underground?
Booking an appointment at Shear Underground is a personalized process. Due to the exclusive nature of our services, we recommend reaching out directly via our contact form or through a referral. Once we connect, we’ll schedule a consultation to discuss your needs and ensure a customized experience.
What should I expect during my first visit?
Your first visit to Shear Underground is all about creating a personalized, comfortable experience. Expect a thorough consultation where we discuss your hair goals, lifestyle, and any specific concerns. The space is designed to be intimate and private, allowing you to relax and enjoy a one-on-one session tailored just for you.
What makes the Shear Underground experience unique?
Shear Underground is more than just a salon—it’s a secretive, intimate space where clients can feel safe and free to express themselves. The experience is personalized, creative, and deeply connected to both the art of hair and the nourishment of the soul.
No Shows
Sometimes life happens, however when you no-show an appointment, it does not allow an opportunity for me to fill your spot. Being this is a referral-only business, your appointment time is reserved for you ONLY. If you no-show, you will be charged for 50% of the service. You will not be able to book your next appointment without a 50% deposit.
Late Policy
To be respectful of my time and any other clients I am seeing that day, I enforce a 15-minute late policy. This is not a guarantee I will be able to perform the regularly scheduled service, so please discuss this with me, having the expectation we both may have to be flexible. Any appointments past 15 minutes will be asked to reschedule. But if this becomes a habit, a $50 deposit may be assessed prior to being able to schedule again.
Cancellations/Rescheduling
We kindly request a 48-hour minimum notice on appointments that are less than 3 hours, a $50.00 sitting fee will be charged prior to being able to rebook your next appointment. If you have a custom appointment where I am reserving my time for more than 3 hours, when needing to cancel or reschedule, I require 72 hours for cancellation. A payment of HALF of what the service price is will be assessed at the time of cancellation. If you choose to reschedule, I will add a credit of $100 to the next appointment, ONLY if it is made at the time of cancellation.
I completely understand that emergencies happen, I allow ONE HALL PASS. You can use that however you wish, after that is used, I will not be able to extend another one.
My Guarantee
I want you to be 100% satisfied with your hair and overall experience. I know that your hair is important to you, and I want you to be happy from the moment you sit in my chair to the moment you leave the salon! As a professional, I strive to communicate how important it is to take the most realistic approach to achieving your beauty goals. If you are not happy with your experience, I will make any necessary adjustments so you can leave the salon feeling amazing. If after your experience you are unhappy with your result, within reason, I am happy to make adjustments to your hair in the form of a correction service.
What is your kid policy?
I love to hear about your family, but I value our time together. In order for me to give you my total attention and stay on task, I ask that children not attend your appointment with you, unless otherwise discussed prior to your visit.
